these are a few of my favorite yarnival things

Finally home in Denmark again, struggling with jetlag. But it is really about time to show some of the photos I took at the amazing Yarnival at Pluckyfluff Studio.
A lot of vendors were there selling handspun yarn, t-shirts, hats, masks, accessories and so much more.

The photos are in random order. They show works of Lisa Renee Mckenzie, Esther Rodgers, Heather M Lightbody, Elizabeth Stottlemyer, Ashley Martineau and Brittany Wilson. I really like how the spinners work with different colours and textures in the handspun yarns. It makes them so intriguing! The fascinating masks are needlefelted by Melissa Nasby. The amazing bags are made by Debra Lambert. The bottom photo is  from Jenny Kerr‘s kawaii booth, where the Yarnival t-shirts were for sale a well. There might still be some t-shirts left, try contacting Pluckyfluff.

I brought home my fair amount of yarn from Yarnival, and I can’t wait to start working with them. I will show pictures of the yarn once the package arrives here from the US.

What amazing yarns! And I love it that I can see who’s is who’s just by looking at the colours and textures used, everyone has such an individual style. I’m really looking forward to seeing how you work with these and how your designs will transform them again!
