japan, part I, coming to japan

It has been a really long journey here, but it has been a great one. I have met a lot of nice people and handed out business cards to all of them on my flight to Japan.

The Shinkansen-ride was really exciting. And it contained a lot of magnificent things, such as:

mountains,

small villages (sorry about the poor picture quality in these two pictures, the train goes really, really fast),

drinking of cold Japanese green tea.

And throughout my trip I have been working on something new… here’s a sneak peak

I also saw the exhibition, that will open tomorrow, the dear Masumi Honde (who invited me here) has lent me her bike and I moved in at Horie’s BnB, where I’ll be staying for the next days. More about all that in the days to come.

Have a wonderful time! Japan is a fantastic and exciting and sometimes strange (sort of a parallel shifted state), but always wonderful.
I’m really envious (in the good way) right now 😉
